Services

Rachel and Maya's consulting work grows directly out of twenty years of building, leading, and transforming institutions at the intersection of finance, strategy, and social justice.

Executive & Leadership Consulting

We work with executives, boards, and leadership teams to strengthen governance, clarify decision-making, and build the internal culture necessary to pursue a mission with consistency and courage. The work is tailored and shaped by the specific history, structure, and goals of each organization they engage with.

Ideal for: Nonprofits navigating organizational growth or transition, boards seeking stronger governance frameworks, and leadership teams working to close the distance between stated values and institutional practice.

DEI & Social Impact Advisory

Rachel and Maya have spent two decades developing and applying rigorous frameworks for integrating social justice into institutional practice; not as peripheral commitments, but as core operating principles. That work includes the development of evaluation frameworks as well as policy implementation and design.

Ideal for: Foundations and endowments deepening their commitment to equity, institutions facing pressure to demonstrate authentic DEI practice, and organizations seeking to align internal culture with external mission.

Investment Strategy & Operational Consulting

We have guided institutions through the process of building or transforming their investment approach and support the governance structures and trustee education required to sustain it. Rachel and Maya’s track record includes organizing investors representing more than $54 billion in assets around shared accountability commitments, and persuading hundreds of publicly traded companies to reform specific practices.

Ideal for: ETF and mutual fund trust boards, family offices and institutional investors beginning or advancing an impact investing strategy, and foundations seeking to align their portfolio with their philanthropic mission.

Employee Ownership Consulting & Design

We bring firsthand experience to employee ownership conversations. Having structured a Perpetual Purpose Trust to transition their own firm into employee ownership, navigating the legal, governance, valuation, and organizational design workstreams that such a transition requires, they are uniquely positioned to serve as guides for organizations considering a similar path. Their approach centers a firm's mission and its people throughout the process, treating ownership transition not just as a financial transaction but as an act of institutional stewardship.

Ideal for: For-profit mission-driven organizations considering a transition to employee ownership, and founder — or owner-led firms at the point of leadership succession or exit.
